- U.S. Marine Corps and National Guard Veteran: John’s leadership extends far beyond the courtroom. As a Lt. Colonel, he completed 3 tours in Iraq, advising on legal and security issues, and helping to establish Iraq’s military justice system.
John’s ability to lead in complex, high-pressure situations ensures that he will continue make the right decisions to keep our New Hampshire communities safe.

- Family-Oriented Values: John’s roots run deep in New Hampshire. He grew up with 5 brothers and sisters, and his parents served their community with pride—his father as a U.S. Navy Commander and public school administrator, and his mother as a registered nurse. John and his wife, Pam, raised four children in Amherst, continuing their legacy of service and dedication.
